Fundraising Campaign at Indiegogo.com
Bob Munden loved entertaining and teaching you, thinking up new ways to blow your minds and make you laugh in live exhibitions or for television — and he would love that you helped make his memorial possible.
Memorial plaques made of other materials might be damaged fairly easily; however, one made of bronze could better stand the test of time, likely as long as Bob’s professional shooting career, which began in the 1950s in Big Bear, California when he was 11 years old. The goal is to raise funds for an etched bronze, memorial plaque featuring Bob’s image, his bullet-in-flight signature, along with a brief history of his amazing shooting career.
The historic Butte Gun Club (est. 1895) has offered to install it in their Schützenhaus (shooting house) where students from all over attended Bob Munden’s School of the Fast Gun. It is an honor. Next to the building is the spot where Bob did some of his most of his most talked-about exhibition shots for television, including the 200-yard shot with a S&W .38 snubby.
Since Bob passed away December 10th at age 70, many friends and fans have asked what they can do to support Bob’s best friend Becky Munden, who was his shooting partner in performances from 1968 – 2011.
Becky has lost her one true love but Bob always said she was stronger than she looked and so far she has not let him down. Though well-made bronze plaques don’t come cheap, Becky would very much like to see this Bob Munden memorial come to be, and it can happen with your support at crowdfunding site Indiegogo.com.

The goal is to raise $3,500 to include freight for the memorial plaque from Tennessee to Montana, where it would be installed at the historic Butte Gun Club (est. 1895) just West of Butte, Montana. An honor.

See the list of contribution thank-you gifts, or “perks”, including newly completed items. Becky will be happy to send them to contributors.

Finally, please kindly spread the word to other Bob Munden fans about this effort to commission a bronze memorial. You can do that on your own of course, or use the Indiegogo share tools!
